First Congregational-UCC, Lee Center, actively supports and is involved in many outreach programs, locally and globally through the broader church, including:
  • Community Church Council: Along with five other local churches, we participate in the annual packing and distribution of Easter and Christmas Baskets, as well as monthly meal deliveries
     
  • Our Churches Wider Mission:  Provides funding for the work of UCC Conference and National ministries in support of the life and work of the local church and its members.
     
  • One Great Hour of Sharing:  Helps to support work with local, national, and international partners to provide support to health, education, refugee, agricultural, and emergency relief initiatives in 138 countries.
     
  • World Day of Prayer
     
  • Operation Shoebox: Sending "care packages" to troops deployed overseas
     
  • Operation Christmas Child: Sending boxes of necessities (including a toy!) to needy kids around the world at Christmas time
     
  • Church World Service CROP WALK
